Interactive Rural Journey through Multisensory Michoacán Space

Play space with climbers, rope bridges, walls simulating Michoacán ecosystems, where collaborative mission games are held to solve problems. There are plenty of stationery supplies and whiteboards for creating resolution strategies.

Multisensory Space: There is a dynamic model that represents, as a timeline, the importance of the countryside. At the beginning, it shows the rural landscape of Michoacán, and at the end of the path, the agricultural products have reached the city, transformed into food. This model includes miniature figures, buildings, houses, and plants, allowing visitors to manipulate them to simulate the journey of agricultural products to the city. Attached to the wall is a tactile mural with textures of rural products and natural scents like soil, corn, and flowers. The experience is designed to be immersive, interactive, and accessible, evoking rural life beyond the city.

When entering the Sustainability room in the Michoacán Interactive Centre, only the entrance to a dark corridor is visible; and after walking a few steps, a group of fireflies gives way to an immersive experience of digital projections and giant statues that show the different ecosystems of the region. One of the firefies guides the tour, presenting the various creatures (animals and plants) that inhabit these areas. Depending on the time, the projections showcase different animals (diurnal or nocturnal) and environments (day or night).
